The basic installation instructions for AirScanS400W can be found at scannershare.com/s400wMacLinux.phpI think if you have ever set up a web server it is fairly simple. It can be installed on MacOS_x86-64 Bit,Raspberry Pi 2 or 3 , Linux_x86-32 or Linux_x86-64 The main places where you can go wrong are Ownership/Permissions (be sure the owner and access is set correctly which will vary depending on your OS) Mod_rewrite not installed or not working not renaming htaccess to .htaccess Incorrect or no executable selected and renamed to s400w. be sure to select the correct executable for your OS / Architecture. If you are trying to use this on an M1 Mac see below. Installing on M1 Mac as the host I hope this helps as part of it is supposition install homebrew www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-install-homebrew-on-mac/#requirements-to-install-homebrew , this will provide the "make" command necessary. Go to the Zip archive or the folder where you have expanded it, and copy the s400wSource to a local folder where you have read/write permissions. from a terminal enter into the folder where you have copied the folder and enter the s400wSource folder Type "make" (without quotes) Your Mac should now generate an M1 executable file . You can test this file by typing ./s400w in the terminal and you should see: version ststus clean...more if not , be sure it is executable: chmod +x s400w Copy this version of s400w to your /Library/WebServer/Documents (or other web root folder)
